Tell me why Apple that you could not see fit to enable momentum scrolling in Leopard??? Why do I have to resort to finding a Terminal command to hack this option? Just irritating, that’s what that is! Sigh, Apple you’re getting more and more like Microsoft every day.

If you have Leopard you can run this simple command in Terminal to enable the momentum scroll feature:

defaults write com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouch.mouse MouseMomentumScroll -bool yes

The option still won’t show up in your mouse control panel but it will work. Turn your mouse off and on again and it will be enabled.
